The central character will be Damian Wayne and will serve as a continuation of his character from The Brave and The Bold as he joins the team. Blue Beetle and Cyborg will be older than the rest of the cast and will have founded the team which will be teased at the end of the Blue Beetle animated series. Donna Troy will also have been introduced already from the series Paradise Lost.
The film will detail the Titans unraveling a criminal conspiracy that all leads into one thing - THE H.I.V.E.. Deathstroke will not be involved as he is being saved for his own R-rated project. James Gunn is very involved in the pre production of this movie and possibly will be writing the script.
