OP I think you underestimate how zerg-popular F1 is. The international crowd will lap this shit up, despite whatever type of business it does stateside.

This isn't going to be like the singing monkey movie where no one knows what the fuck it is outside of a very niche group of people. F1 is internationally known even though its biggest fans are European. Plus it's a Brad Pitt movie and he always puts asses in seats.

F1 is not popular whatsoever, nor is motoGP, GT racing, Rally, Supercar, Formula E, etc.

Netflix is popular and astroturfed their F1 show, leading people to think F1 is popular. It has no betting market, it has few viewers, it has been shit for years, the cars are slower than 10 or 20 or 30 years ago, and one guy has been dominant for several seasons. It will be a huge, huge flop. People won't even pirate it.

Young people are literally too scared to take driving tests and think those electric scooters are all they need. They despise cars and know that women don't care about them. There's no drama big enough in an F1 race to make anyone care under 80 years of age.
oh my stars, an overtake on the last lap!

Did it cost like a billion dollars or something
It'll perform fine for the dads or people who like drama biopics

F1 isn't popular in North America, but Drive to Survive is. Chicks love it for some reason. That's the audience they should try to get.

Wow, an entire sport that rivals...Taylor Swift and an acoustic guitar.

Monaco is the tightest circuit ever with the least effect from top speeds like the previous engines had. Either way you clearly don't understand racing so good day.

They don't have the lower body strength. The brake pedal in an F1 car is roughly a 110kg force to fully brake.

Rush and Ford v Ferrari were about motorsports people/events that are by no means mainstream and well-known but still made a healthy profit. F1 has its work cut out for it because of the massive budget but it will do fine.
