Will Nolan pull it off?

I dont know op its truly a mystery, we all know our boy Nolan is a bit shit at fight scenes (except in Tenet) but on the other hand he always finds a way to make a kino. For example when I first watched Oppenheimer I thought it was going to be all about the bomb fx but it was about being horny and tired of being smarter than at least 80 percent of the global population, it was about einstein dropping his hat HA! great job, you dropped you hat Einstein! you old fuck! I am oppenhaeimer destroyer of cunts. Smoke a cigarette and let them question you, at the end of the day you will get your dick sucked even if millions have to burn.

Oh cool, is Nolan working on a film set in the Iron Age after his adaptation of The Oddysey drops?

I think Nolan may need Hans Zimmer for this one.

Keep the dialog to a minimum. keep the dialog practical.

Lean toward Dunkirk and away from Oppenheimer.

Nolan has a huge problem being pretentious and shallow.

Listening to Ludwig Göransson is exhausting.

YOU HEAR ME NOLAN!?

His greatest enemy is his need to look smart. If he could let go of his ego, he would be the greatest director of all time.

2001 used it from prehumanity, so why not? Either way, there's little record of their music, or anything much pre-1000 AD.

Nolan is one of the worst directors that somhow gets a ton of praise. There isn't a single visually appealing shot in any of his grey, dull movies. The dialogue is shockingly bad, and even he knows it so he tries to drown it out with obnoxious loud Zimmer trash in every single scene.

No. Oppenheimer worked because Cillian Murphy was clearly born to play the role. Matt Damon doesn't display anything as assured yet, but will wait and see for the trailer at least.

Oh, what are your criticisms of his direction?
>Yhere isn't a single visually appealing shot in any of his grey, dull movies.
That's a criticism of cinematography, not direction.
><The dialogue is shockingly bad, and even he knows it
>That's a criticism of writing, not direction.
>so he tries to drown it out with obnoxious loud Zimmer trash in every single scene.
That's a criticism of editing and soundtrack, not direction.

I don't actually mind the difference as such. It's more like that this specific design doesn't make sense in the context of the story which is (for a big part) 1 on 1 aristocratic combat.
