It was a shit joke. But the deification of Eddie at that point was a bit over the top. I get it, but it was over the top. Glad the world simmered down on that.

Anyway it's interesting to me because Spade was never really funny except in sketch comedy. I'd seen his stand up and it was, as good as Adam Sandlers early days. Which was awful. But props to Spade cause as he's gotten older he's actually just gotten better. His latest special was purtty good.

It wasn’t really a funny joke but Eddie was wrong for getting so butthurt about it and Spade was wrong for being such a pussy when Eddie called him out. It’s a wash
