Nah. Temple of Doom has that amazing opening scene. I just rewatched Last Crusade the other day and the movie goes to shit once they "rescue" Sean Connery from the castle.

I know its horrible to say but ET and Close encounters are over rated. JAWS is a masterpiece and it seemed like after that he was losing his touch. But he recovered with Indiana Jones, Jurassic Park, Saving Private Ryan and despite holocaust fatigue Schindlers list is a well done movie as well.

Hook or the Last Crusade albeit Catch me if you can and AI are both pretty good too. And then there is Jurassic Park, which is probably his most important film if we are talking about his contributions to cinema.

ET and Poltergeist when viewed as companion films taking place the same town. Yeah I know he technically didn't direct Poltergeist, but he wrote and produced it and according to the actors he directed a lot of it as well.

GTFO.
The 1991 cartoon, while not great, is miles better than that CGI nonsense.
