It was very odd. Up until then things had been fairly down to earth. Killing infected is portrayed as a scary and risky thing, even one of them is a threat.
Then this teletubbies/savile/antichrist gang shows up and starts killing a bunch of infected in crazy parkour ways to somewhat silly music. It's a huge tonal shit to what was happening just 1 minute prior.
