The Goose delivers a solid performance, but everybody else is embarrassing. Not necessarily because they're bad actors, rather just that the supporting cast of characters are just terrible pawns with nothing to do except clumsily recycle the exact same thematic storyline as its predecessor with nothing new added in to make it better or different.
Considering the original is still a masterclass visually and with a finer (albeit still flawed) screenplay, I just don't see the reason for this film's existence. I don't feel anything but frustration for its wasted potential when watching it.

They couldn't figure out any actual interesting plot for it. So it just has to be something stupid like "we can't get our advance clones to reproduce" and "you're a cop we bullied into coming back when a group of clones unexpectedly murdered a bunch of people and escaped. If Gosling's JOI was just a soulless corporate product as he painfully discovered, why did it enrouage him to break the law and cross the company that manufactured it?
Also, Deckard wasn't ever a replicant, could not have been a replicant, and wasn't intended to be a replicant. One third of this movie is built on Ridley Scott enjoying the smell of his own intestinal gas while gooning.

He is actually one of the few passable roles. Hoeks straight sucked, Gosling is just playing Driver again, Ford is barely different from any other old Ford role. Robin Penn gets worse every time you watch it, Bautista is shit, French woman is annoying. Armas and Leto are pretty much holding the movie together if you can't get into Gosling's goofy stare. He can do so much better.

I don't get the Leto hate. I think it was one of his best roles and the lack of emotions of expressions was a great match for a God-complex sociopath like Wallace. Neither I know how a better or worse actor could affect the quality of the movie because of how small the role was. 2 scenes in a 3 hour movie was not something that would make or ruin the movie for me. And as other anons already said on this thread, Ford was more insulting to watch in this movie.
