It's not exactly fantasy, I guess, because there's no outright magic, but there is a sort of sorceress character. Sean Bean is a medieval soldier who tries to investigate a remote village that is untouched by plague.
There is an 80's fantasy movie I saw as a kid, but haven't been able to find it. It had an evil wizard in it, think he was called Circe or something like that, and an old man good wizard who I think was training a kid. They had a magic duel and the evil wizard had red beams and the good had blue iirc.

The 60's ones? Maybe? I think if they did, the US releases were censored. Some of them are kind of infamous for their silliness though.
