Why didn’t they grant him the rank of master?

I don't know. They let him on the council so he already had influence. Not sure what difference a word would have made. Lucas just couldn't come up with any good ideas because he's a hack.

Because he was in no way ready. He had zero emotional control. They were forced to put him on the counsel by Palpatine, which made him angrier, which is what Palpatine wanted. Why is this movie so hard for you boomers and RLM fags to comprehend?

Depends on whether or not you consider TCW canon. If you don't, because he was an unstable man child. If you do, because he was a rules breaker who was too ruthless and who Mace Windu had a personal grudge towards.

Unironically his reaction to being told is why. Rejection was the final test, and he failed.
That being said, I always thought it was funny that the Jedi were essentially guilted into allowing him into the Order, despite their otherwise emotional rigidness. Like, they flat out tell Qui-Gon that he can't be trained, for a variety of admittedly bullshit reasons, but then he dies and they feel bad so they relent.
I do like how George portrayed the Jedi throughout his series. They're not villainous like some writers have clumsily portrayed them as, they're just so comfortably ignorant since the majority of them have nothing to do and have known relative peace for so long. It's almost like they were subconsciously asking for it to justify their existence.
The Last Jedi sucks, but its portrayal of Luke is accurate. This dude was not a hero in any classical sense, and his mindset was that of his reckless abandon mixed with his masters' failure and penchant for lies. Of course this nigga ends up as a space hobo with no wisdom or knowledge; he was never given any. He was psychologically manipulated into being a weapon, not a functional human being, and after all of his friends were killed or split apart, what would you expect? He had no home, he had temple, and he had no sense of self. The Mandalorian is fucking gay as shit, fuck that brokebuck mountain lookin' faggot in charge of all this EU crap.
Thanks for reading my space blog.

Might have had something to do with his anger issues, you could probably say he was straight up too young too.
Imagine struggling to understand a shitty movie for children

I recommend reading the episode 3 book. It tried to correct every single fuckup from the movie lol.

There it was started that anakin was 23. Most of the jedi are still padawans at that age. Obiwan became a knight at 25. Also Obiwan says that hes too impulsive, and rants about many battles which were lost in the clone wars just because anakin didnt want to sacrifice him, or his friends.

has he waited a bit and been fine with it, they would have used the shrink machine on him to turn him into a yoda and dump him on a swamp planet

EP 3 has many flaws, but I can't get the bitching about this. Palpatine was the ONLY one who supported Anakin since going to Coruscant. Every single Jedi was an asshole towards him. Anakin was batshit scared to lose his wife, and he chose the guy who offered him a solution, not the guys who were assholes towards him 0-24
