if I had the power to remove one group of people from existence it would be people who think hunter schafer would be a good casting for griffith. it’s a shit tier opinion based purely off his appearance. A tranny like schafer would never be able to inspire the awe the other characters have for Griffith, it would be comedic at best, nor would he make the friendship and subsequent betrayal between Guts and Griffith believable.
If you think Hunter Shaver should be Griffith, you haven’t read the manga and if you have read it again until you stop being a faggot

Sincerely wish they took another crack at a season 2 given how late it was dubbed. Given the interest in the west and how far ahead the manga had gotten at that time they 100% could have done a Season 2 consisting of Black Swordsman, Lost Children and most of Conviction by that 2003.

Hell even if Season 2 filled in stuff like Guts' childhood, Skull Knight and retrofit Wyald and Count in to the time before Lost Children they could have ended with Guts going back to Godo's house and finding out about Casca before a Season 3 involving strictly Conviction - would have been a better cliffhanger than what we got. There's easily 20-25 episodes worth of stuff that could have been done before tackling Conviction.
