>work laws preventing animators from being abused into making kino
>shitty animation is just cheaper
>nepotism allowing for the same writers to keep finding work
>flash becoming mainstream and streamlining the animation process
>continued success of family guy making studios look for the next adult animated sitcom that will print money
>the cartoon community is extremely asocial and childish so any grudges from the late 90's to the mid 00's are forced into the shows they make whether knowingly or unknowingly

Focus on quick repeatability in animation and reward for pornographic and unappealing images. You can't make something fun or nice but you can make the viewer feel something by essentially screaming at them which is what the color palette and leering demonic faces in these animations are meant to induce. It's no different than gonzo pornography.
