i don't like this new format of long ass sketches, way longer than needed, broken up over the course of the episode, dr shit was decent initially but got played out fast. alex in the firefighter sketch was top kek but went on way too long shouldve stopped when the girls drove away. electrician sketch was great, transitioned into the music. kino. a lot of duds this season though, just not finding it as interesting, creative, or kino. feels half assed even though it took so long to edit apparently.

why the fuck did they think the first episode was good enough to be the first or even worth releasing. Jew Doctor shit sucked but the rest was pretty good

i agree, but it's just how it goes with the format / process they chose to do i guess. improv half baked ideas, that they dont know how the bits will land until a lot of work has already been done to make it and once you do all that work cutting it seems like a waste when probably some tards will enjoy the slop. but all the ideas seem pretty half baked. there's definitely gonna be a few gems out of it, and there already has been from these two episodes, but most of it is half baked and not really that funny made worse by some of the editing choices.

I hope the rest is scrapped, do you really need to see the full version with airsoft fatty saying "muh dick" and the fishtank girl saying "muh pussy" instead of just the sam reactions? I was actually happy they cut it down since the actual material is so predictable (steve harvey asks overtly sexual question, gets overtly sexual answer, reacts). Just making it a 30 second reaction reel was a good decision and they should have done something similar to that for the daddy dom skit too

Just watched it. Yeah I agree, way better than episode 1.

The last sketch that leads into the music video is probably one of the funniest MDE sketches I've ever seen, and well shot too. If the rest of the episodes are of this quality then it will far surpass WP1.

I genuinely think they purposely avoided using wide angle shots because it was a Ruse staple, but they would've benefited greatly using a fisheye. The cinematography was way better in this one, this felt like they were getting into the groove of it again. Also, as soon as Charls is back in, immediately 6x better. Some of the bumps were a little cheesy, specifically the anime ones, and they're also too long. The ones made by Konzept weren't bad. In retrospect, the original World Peace was shockingly experimental, especially for a TV show. I expected this one to be WAY out there, since they have no restrictions, but it's not there yet. The first sketch was really great though, I love how dark it got. Kind of wish they went a little harder because it's a genuine critique of the medical world. Overall, EP.2 was WAY better and I genuinely thought EP1 was complete garbage.

I really like the usage of face spasm quick cuts. Eric had them when electrocuted. Nick in the car. Charls during his skit, episode 2 rekindled my love for the crew's comedy. Even if I agree that Sam can't really "write jokes"
