Every point that could be made in this sequel exists in the first film. It’s already considered one of the best films of the century in terms of capturing the zeitgeist. Why try and hammer in the point by making it a don’t look up or big short type movie. Fincher dressed the film down to a whisper and it works perfectly because of that. Sorkin sucks at directing and this film will be a mess.

Has anyone even done a sequel to a biopic like this? Obviously people have done biopics with multiple parts but those were typically part of a deliberate project to make multiple installments and obviously people have just made more biopics about a person after one was successfull. But to make one and then go years and years only for the director to come back and basically keep the biopic going like he's going some kind of art project documenting the guy's life in film form while he's still living it?

Imagine if he tackled how the FBI and CIA basically became the moderation team of Facebook in 2020 to silence covid dissent, and how facebook helped with mass propaganda campaigns

I loathed Trial 7 but Being the Ricardos was fantastic. I worry this would be closer to the former because he's such a rabid kike with massive TDS and he already mentioned the impetus for this sequel is "facebook responsible for jan 6". TSN is a timeless masterpiece because it's so devoid of his worst kike leftist impulses but this already reeks of being a topical hit piece on top of being an obvious cashgrab with sony involved.
