Do they now? I mean, no matter what happens in the Prequels, Star Wars still ends the same way. Rebuilds' changes to the EVA canon were a lot more sinister and a lot harder to ignore.

Leia is close enough to Rei since both characters are related to Luke/Shinji. So Leia would marry the gay character idk who that would be. Han is a chad so he’s going to be Kensuke. That means he fucks best girl, not sure who that is in star wars. Luke/Shinji ends up with some random boring bitch who was introduced 20 years later, that would be Rey.

The answer is Ahsoka. But also, they denied this in interviews. Asuka’s VA certainly did. Which makes you wonder why it was written that way if they had to go on apology tour after the movie. God, Rebuilds were such a mess.

Anno needs to make one more original animated series.
I recently watched Nadia: The Nautilus Story, which is his original intended version of the series, it was excellent and it make me really miss when anime used to be good.
