Having read the full police report, the roommates didnt see or hear anything that would lead them to believe anyone was being murdered. When you live in a college party house you become accustomed to weird noises and strangers coming in and out at all hours of the night. It’s not worth calling the police over what is probably someone puking, fighting with their boyfriend or having rough sex.
I lived in one of those in college. Someone actually did break in and steal our tv but I had my door locked and didn’t get out of bed.

Bundy snuck in killed two women, then two other women were alerted and he attacked them (they survived). Then he was spotted by another woman as he fled. That's three surviving witnesses all within minutes of Bundy showing up and police were on the scene shortly.

Compare that to a gap of eight hours between the supposed murderer being spotted and the cops even being called.
