The moment where Wickit and Leia listen to the sounds of the forest before being shot at is supremely comfy

Recently got the HD "demastered" version, great stuff.

Rewatching it when Leia was disguised as the bounty hunter she was more competent than she was in the last two movies. In ten minutes she goes from threatening to blow up everyone in the room to a slug monster's slave wench.

Never liked it. Too many uninteresting subplots and Vader's redemption feels unearned. "Star Wars" should've been two movies, at most, and that's if you retroactively rewrite A New Hope to not effectively be the standalone film it is.
Franchise's height is unironically in video games, primarily the original, early 21st century Battlefront and Lego titles.

I agree about Vader. I find the films work better if you take them as individual films and don't worry about the overarching narrative between them. Lucas was making it up as he went along so I don't see why you can't too.

I skip all Endor scenes. It’s actually a good movie if you do that

It's funny how they are barely anywhere in the star wars lore besides Jedi. My one defense is that I like the costumes.
