>>212051055 (OP) I miss good UK shows. I made a thread about it a few days ago because everything on channel 4 now is abysmal, every panel show, every series.

>>212051066 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OAJtN8MTzo4 one of the best gags in the entire show
>>212051055 (OP) Sadly neither can the UK anymore because Linehan brainbroke himself obsessing over trannies.

>>212052067 >>212052077 This is just dishonest framing man. The UK media is packed full of people who hate on trannies, Linehan's issue is he turned himself into a living 4chan post about them. He thinks and talks about nothing else to the point even his wife and kids won't speak to him.
>oi noige you evah notice how the office woohkas don't know about cumpyutas? >deafening uproarious laugh track ensues i love british humor, it's so sophisticated
>>212059730 I just watched this and spaced last weekend. I'm so late on them but they are truly kino series. Already watched it crowd years ago, is there any more series as good as those 3?
>>212059816 Peep Show is probably the best british comedy series ever made. Black Books is an insanely relaxing comfort show for me, but Peep Show is very well made and written.
i thought the 2010 series of this was very good but a lot of people on here really hate it whenever ive brought it up and call it momslop, but i thought it was good.
There's something about it that is both shit and classic at the same time, like the quality of writing is highly variable across the series, some standout moments and lines but others fall a bit flat
>>212062693 I'm not from England, but we had all the Bottom cassette tapes and watched them all them all the time when I was a kid. My family watched the Halloween and Christmas episode every year.
>>212051174 I just realized the one chick I banged who was a little heavy we were watching this show at my place before it. Didn't even want to bang her she was a coworker just hanging out after work, but after a pint of whiskey and an hour of IT crowd we were going at it kek, still regret it. Had massive udders though.
>>212055905 I just feel bad for him. He's more mentally ill than any tranny could ever aspire to be. How does that man look himself in the mirror and tell himself it was all worth it and that he shouldn't be deeply ashamed of what he has become? He can admit that he was weirdly obsessed and quit at any moment, but he doesn't, he chooses to continue despite it being a completely pointless and fruitless battle that costs him everything. What the fuck is wrong with him?
>>212051055 (OP) It's got the same problem as father ted - they repeat the same jokes over and over and over. And a lot of the jokes are incredibly lazy/obvious.
IT crowd is a MUCH better show overall though.

>turn on me favorite comedy >ave a laff or two >immediately start thinking of americans Any other fellow Britoids also completing their daily schedule really late?
>>212051055 (OP) Ironically it's too American. Doesn't feel British at all.

>>212064890 Like most shows it becomes somewhat more refined as time goes on, but at its heart it is absurdist humor. If that's not your thing, you won't like the rest of the series.
