The first 20 minutes of this film is glorious. On a technical level, this is one of DePalma's best. Story though is lame. Originally, DePalma wanted the story to end with a huge flood, flooding the whole building and all the characters in it. That ending would have actually saved the movie for me. Great acting, amazing direction and cinematography, plot kind of sucks.
