Realistically is there any chance that the Late Night Comedy genre ever sees a "knocking it out of the park" run that even comes close to rivaling what we've see with Bill Maher and Real Time over the last year?

I think it's funny that Bill Maher's show doesn't come on late at night. Yet he wants it to be a "late night talk show" so badly. It's not even the same format.

Jon Stewart's show comes on an hour AFTER Bill's show on a different day but Jon Stewart doesn't consider his show to be a "Late night talk show" either, like Jimmy Kimmel or Stephen Colbert. Both Stewart and Maher only come on 3 or 4 times a month.
