I still remember during the airing of Season 3 when it was speculated (with good reason) that Earth was the actual true homeworld of humanity. The artifacts they encountered along the way became more ancient up to thousands of years.
Of course, that's not how it turned out after Season 4 aired, but it was a good theory for a while.

The fact that Baltar went to see Gaeta before his execution (he was probably the only person who visited), despite the terrible history between them, was very touching and also heartbreaking.

What else are they going to use the small arms ammunition for? They don't work on cylons and they probably have mountains of the stuff lying around, also mutineers don't get spaced, they get a military execution, it wasn't about the resources it's about sending a message

There was a certain point where it became agonizingly clear that they had no outline or plan or anything at all, they were just writing episode to episode. It was like they thought they would just get two seasons and an occasional TV Movie and that’s how they planned the series. There were still great moments and the show was still fun, but the bloom was off the rose.
