Pretty good movie, but it from Steve Buschimi’s perspective it’s a horror movie about a quirky teenage girl forcing herself into his life, ruining it, and running out of town. He didn’t even get to bang 20 year old Scarlett Johansson he got the Velma looking pig and caught feelings like a sucker after drunk sex with a woman half his age

I wish I was brave enough to do what she did at the end of the movie. Instead I let fear rule my entire life and now I'm in my 30s and life never started.

They’re both hot, the only mistake he made was trying to date that hag instead of just fucking her over and over again

She was the better actress back then. Scar-Jo was fucking terrible. I don't know people pretend she was a great actress. It took 100 films for her to be believable.

it amazes me that this film is loved by e-girls when the entire 3rd act is laughing at not-Scarlett-Johansson for not being able to enjoy life without coating it in 40x layers of irony

Kurt Cobain's whole schtick was that he was being ironic about being a rockstar and he's the Gen X poster-faggot.

Gosh you’re dumb OP… Seymour went from being so lonely he had to place an ad to having his choice of big titty goth gf or Elizabeth banks… plus he gets to feel the power of rejecting both

what are you talking about, my point was that millenials and zoomers watch the film and do not digest the ending, and you responded with an irony quip, I'm talking about you retard.

Except no chud "ironically" enjoys American Psycho, they sincerely enjoy how it is both a funny movie and one where people get butchered

eh the original comic is better, but even that is forgettable 90s trash. They should have adapted Clowes' Velvet Glove instead

This is a way more interesting interpretation than just leaving town. plus the old man with the dead wife waiting for the bus had a bunch of screentime.

I'm about Steve Buscemi's character's age in the movie and I would love if a quirky Velma looking pig half my age would force herself into my life for drunk sex. And I'd probably catch feelings like a sucker too.
>>212079685
I'm probably in a similar situation to you, but I moved a few times, worked a few jobs, and now I'm back in my hometown living in a basement apartment my dad owns. Life still ended up passing me by, just in a different way. I think whatever timeline you would have been on, if you're you, then you'd probably make similar choices and end up in a similar place.

Never saw it in the theater, but saw it as late teen/early twenties on DVD and even back then I related to his character.
