Why? He didn't even care for Lurleen sexually, at least with Mindy the whole episode is about how he is extremely tempted to fuck her brains out because she pushes all of his buttons, tough it is still confirmed in a clipshow episode that he did not have sex with her, with Lurleen he has zero desire towards her and the entire time she is simply misreading his kindness as romantic interest.
Why?
