It is strange how quickly it flipped from being permissible although not encouraged to like the worst thing ever. People nowadays think it was something people did in the 18th century but it wasn't even a big deal in the 90s and 2000s. I felt like everyone knew a couple girls that were dating guys in their 20s when the girls were 16/17 and no one cared.
