His characters are too obnoxious to carry a movie. It goes from funny to unwatchable the more you're exposed to them. He should just stick to sketches. Maybe even a half hour tv show, but a full 90+ minutes is too much.

I feel like it wasn't necessarily the length of the movie, it was that the rest of the movie besides Tim was too grounded and normal. in Tim's sketches, the other characters and the world itself are usually also strange. putting him into an otherwise normal world is just jarring. it made him look psychotic and it felt more like a Cable Guy esque movie than Tim's usual surreal style of humor.
it also wasn't written or directed by Tim so people expecting a full length Tim Robinson sketch were probably let down. Tim's character was the only part written like a typical Robinson sketch, and I'm sure he had some input in his part, but it would have been better if he had actually written it.
still I enjoyed the movie well enough, it wasn't amazing but it kept me entertained. it's not as good as his show though.
