He was obviously lying if you paid attention to the second season. He was awkward about anything military and was a complete coward, it was very obvious. Anyway I just watched EP2 of S3 and its the most retarded fucking shit I've ever seen. Completely jumped the shark. Fake military guy was just a loser who didn't deserve to shoulder the blame for MC's massive fuck up that got everyone killed. And the whole useless bitch and her pregnancy arc is the gayest fucking thing ever and I want to throw her and her baby down the fucking stairs.

I guess they REALLY wanted us to be okay with Gihun hunting down and butchering somebody in Hide and Seek, but they forgot to make Daeho totally unredeemable.

Never mind the fact that Gihun left a ton of the X's who had faith in him and just wanted to go home and end the games to get butchered in order to kick off his absolute fucking Hindenberg of a "plan" to revolt against the game

The worst Daeho deserved was to for Gihun to smack him around a bit. A black eye and some lumps at the very worst, for fuck's sake. Gihun was unforgivable this season.

His death was underwhelming. The end of S3E1 implied Gi-hun was about to become a psycho killer, but we don't even get a savage knife fight in the end. We also don't get to see a schizo Min-su exact the ultimate revenge against Nam-gyu. Other than that though, episode 2 was the best of this season.

Who was the old white woman at the end? Why are Americans playing Djakki? Did they watch Squid Games too?

He killed him out of grief because he needs someone to blame for the failed rebellion, and honestly the fake marine guy isn't even helping by lashing out back at him instead of being genuinely apologetic for failing his comrades, but he snapped out of it at the end and realized it's his fault for marching those people to their deaths before the grandma told him not to blame himself to snap him out of his depression.
