Not looking forward to working again. As a machine operator there's always at least one part of a line that spooks me in any job - a roller or a saw or something. Great money though.

This is why at my job (A bike factory), all the columns have protectors installed on them to prevent them from being hit in the first place and help stop the columns from buckling if they do get hit.

It also helps if you don't overload the storage racks.

Electrician is fine, I'm talking about anything that involves lifting heavy things. It fucks up your spine. Tradlarpers claim it's "le masculine man's job" but there's plenty of traditionally masculine jobs (like electrician) that don't fuck up your body.

Also being neet does not equal unhealthy if you choose to not be. Blue worker drones have no choice but to destroy their spines. Trust me, let slaves do slave jobs.

Imo worst thing about retail is doing the same shit over and over again, lazyass co workers. And yes, customers.
At least if i dig a fucking home and pour a slab it's like cool look at this slab. Front a retail shelf and they want you to front again 20 minutes later because someone came behind you and took an item. And then you come back and do it again.
Also just the corporate drone culture.

Yes, Starbucks. You'd think an overpriced establishment would filter out the poor plebs but oh no, money doesn't play nearly as much of a role in how shitty a person is than you'd think.
Had one lady come in asking me how much for a cappuccino (the prices were literally right above me). After telling her she looked at me like I just insulted her, then continued to insult me and the whole company because how dare we charge that much for a coffee. There was a big line behind her which she was holding up, after about a minute of going "I understand ma'am, I'm sorry you feel that way" or whatever, I just started ignoring her and serving the next customer while she stood at the side of the counter bitching at me for literally +30 minutes. After telling her to please leave she tried to barter the prices down lol. I hate old people so much.

That's how most things are designed. An average bridge built in the west today has a lifespan of 100 years or less because we've realized that by the time it's that old it's usually functionally obsolete and needs a new design anyway. Often bridges get replaced before their design life expires because their capacity or some other constraint needs to be corrected.

A giant Costco-like market gets a new cute cashier girl, and rumor has it that she'll sleep with the next employee of the month. A rivalry breaks out between the employee of the last 17 months (an arrogant twat) and a box boy (loveable slacker). It's a 2006 movie, not great, but fun to watch and entertaining.

Forklift license's aren't real. They are a psyop, unironically. You don't need to one to drive a forklift legally and every single company has their own in-house training they make you do instead. After you get rhe job you do whatever in house bullshit they do and then they let you drive them but never give you a license.

They wouldn't give a single fuck about us unless they wanted to chill or just destroy us instantly out of the blue as some schizophrenic million year long protection plan. Anything on earth is available everywhere else is way easier quantities and if they can get here they dont need the planet.

Biggest problem with the "aliens invading Earth for resources" trope.
Easy access to gas clouds lightyears wide and endless supplies of metal floating through space and they decide on a pointless military conflict on an irrelevant planet
