For me, it's Smell-O-Vision never being properly financed / researched.

It doesn't even make sense because the movie does this very specific cycle where the villains immigrate in, change their names/appearances, take control of the media/finance/politics with local collaborators, suck up all the resources and send it back to their homeland
What the fuck is the "yuppie" equivalent of that?
