Unironically when this happened for the first time on TV is was actually a pretty explosive moment.
Finding out Uncle Phil was a legendary pool hustler/player and Geoffrey was complicit with it was an amazing character development.
You really don't get character reveals like this on television anymore.

Uncle Phil was legitimately like having a father figure in the house. I'm not joking. The way television was back then? Something was always playing. These people are only actors playing characters but you see them often enough and hear good writing come out of them often enough and the mind just begins to blur lines.
