Doctor Manhattan's even more deranged in his horniness in the HBO sequel. The ONLY canonical reason he returns to Earth from Mars is because he wants to bang a female cop and he even literally takes the form of a dead black guy he finds in the morgue to do it

Silk Spectre pisses me off in this movie every time I watch it. She knows Manhattan is taken with a long term girlfriend. She'd never look at him twice in his human form but is all over his blue chad, famous form. Immediately ready to steal him from his girlfriend no matter the harm is causes. Then the rest of the movie just nag nag nag, complaining about everything, never trying to understand him, always saying she's right about everything with the moral high ground etc. She doesn't actually care about Dr. M or want to do anything long term with him, just to use him to make herself happy, get attention, and be noteworthy. Then first chance she gets she dumps him and immediately fucks another watchman. We're supposed to think she's a good guy? Or even intelligent? She's a moron just jumping from guy to guy with the only purpose in the story of who is currently fucking her.
