M3gan 2.0 is supposed to make just $10 million at the box office this weekend. Is teaming her up with another horror icon that's now in the Blumhouse stable the only way to rescue the franchise at this point? Do you have any other ideas?

It’s a one-and-done idea that was an unexpected success, and they thought they could milk it into a franchise. I went to AMC to see 28 Years Later Last night, and there was a little M3gan 2.0 promo that played before it, and there were a ton of groans in the audience.

Was there ever any long term appeal for M3gan? All I know is that people thought it was funny that she looked like she did a jig in the trailer for the first film, and then people moved on. She's never going to be a mascot the same way Chucky was.

28 Years Later has a 70% dropoff this wke. The third movie in the trilogy is likely kill, and the second movie Bone Temple is going straight to streaming. Probably an equal or low key bigger disaster than M3gan 2.0 but hopefully Blumhouse keeps bombing and dies. New horror companies needed.

I went to see this movie tonight and it was genuinely entertaining. gemma's actress is hollow and boring but everyone in the theater was laughing and audibly reacting to stuff in the film. at least i got to enjoy it with some strangers

Perhaps it is a good thing that this movie is doing poor at the BO. This is a good final film for M3gan, and it is probably better than being stretched into a repetitive shitty franchise.

It has a really good verified audience score. The issue is the Opening Weekend is really too low for legs to even matter. Cut off at the knees.
