It really consolidates the power for music production in the production companies because they have the advertising power. That being said though, music is so variable I think people will still make and get famous for non AI music forever.
And when you think about it, "AI" isn't really one single thing, it's a number of different tools and people can become increasingly educated on how to use them. Maybe one day there WILL be a movie made by a regular guy with AI that goes on to win an oscar or a bestselling AI novel.
On the one hand, AI produces mediocre content that often needs lots of correction and editing, but on the other hand AI can create some very nuanced and complex work, especially when used by someone as a proper tool with a good amount of discretion.
Really hard to say what the future holds for AI, I'm hoping for 24/7 anime fighting streams.
