>>212147619nah, 28 is young, you just don't realise it because the past years have felt so long.
follow my advice, do not over think it, just start seeing docs and writing logs of it all and looking for info in any half decent sources, then seeing what matches up.
if you're in a shitty little town, those doctors have zero experience with something that might be a 1 in a 100,000 or less problem.
1. ask for a referral to an endocrinologist and /or andrologist
2. ask for a full hormone blood panel including all thyroid checks
3. if anything is borderline or low, insist on trying some treatment to see if anything improves, that could be thyroid supplements and/or testosterone.
4. if the doctors are useless, ask for a referral to a university hospital in a big city. find out which ones have good endocrinology departments or ask doctors to recommend one. travel there and see specialists there.
5. can be a lot of causes, so need to narrow down what it is by testing. a good specialist will know how to do this.
6. don't be put off by trying tons of doctors, it will give you more info along the way. like I said, see 20 if you have to, no joke.
even if you have to spend a year or two sorting this, it will be worth it.
post on /fit/ in the meantime, they've been dealing with fatties and skeles for years and something will help.
dont expect a quick fix, consider it a journey, but it's better to sort it now, than spend 40+ years just leaving it unchecked.
