I feel like these people have some sort of ego thing where they dont want to admit that their acting career never took off because they feel like losers. But doing these conventions forever is much more sad and pathetic than if he went to night school and got a job somewhere else and could just be like "yeah, I tried acting out, was in a few thing, but it just never worked out"
