I kinda agree but Pegg isn't a miscast, the character just sucks. The crew had been working together for a while and after Spaced and Shaun of the Dead (that were great) they fucked up the best thing they had, buddy comedy with Pegg and Frost, by making Pegg's character a tiresome bore. They overdid all the rest of their movies too after that but I think Hot Fuzz is still fun enough. It grows on you.
