I went to see 28 Years Later yesterday and I love how realistic it is for a horror movie.

>zombie virus contained solely in the UK
>UK population simply reverses back to it's roots
>half of them are fat disgusting crawlers and the other half are savages
>health care in shambles, have to risk your life to get an appointment and still die
>virus is not super contagious and the zombies could be easily eradicated by any small modern army
>however, no other country gives a shit about the UK and everybody focuses on just keeping it quarantined
>rest of the world just enjoys the world without the UK
>but_if_you_close_your_eyes_does_it_almost_feel_like_nothing_changed_at_all.mp3
>no TV shows where the tough guy has a retarded accent (Peaky Blinders, The Boys)
>no shit ass cringe pop culture shows like Dr. Who or modern Sherlock shows
>no annoying British music

Simple and pure, unadulterated God's punishment. 10/10

If it happened it'll wipe out most of the world's Muslim/paki/jeet population. Literally no downside.

the bone temple was a good metaphor for the NHS. you have to take a long dangerous journey through a land filled with subhumans only to meet a doctor who's medically incompetent and will get you killed for the pleasure.

This was good
The whole movie was good, and if anything was bad it was some of the slow parts, not the literal last scene in the movie
You are a cretin

Yeah he bumped the mum off quicker than Harold Shipman. I Wonder if that was a less obvious in-film reference to another national scandal.

That's an accurate summary of the film, but it left out the fact that the reason the kid left with his mum is because he caught his dad shagging a local woman. This is after years of his mum doing nothing but screaming and calling the dad a cunt and not knowing what year it is, while the dad does the cooking, cleaning, tending to his mum, training him to survive, etc. The kid prefers the mum because she pulls funny faces sometimes and treats him like a baby.
Also, the boy took his mum to the doctor for a cure. The doctor immediately tells them it's incurable brain cancer. The mum says "Yeah lol thought so but I didn't know how to tell you. Sorry kid". Then she immediately agrees to euthanisation.

The projector died at the screening I went to just as Voldemort gave the mom her terminal cancer diagnosis, so I went home and torrented it just to see how it ended, and I kind of wish I had just left it at brain cancer.

The fact that it ended like this, and that the sequel is being directed by the bitch who directed The Marvels gives me absolutely no hope for it.

Thatโ€™s some gate watch, by the way. Not seeing the kid coming down the one singular access road, and then not hearing a baby crying for presumably hours.
