Best cartoons of your childhood if you were born in the 80s or early 90s

I just remembered Mighty Max bc my kids found my old toys in storage. That show was pretty good when I was a kid. Every episode felt like a movie.

Mighty Max has to have the most iconic last episode. It was not intended to be a series finale, but the show didn't get renewed, so it ends on it. Where Max fails and wakes up and is back in the first episode. I've talked with people over the years and it sticks out so much. People can't remember other episodes or other shows last episodes, but Mighty Max's really lasted in peoples minds.

That's a really well written way to end a show. Probably better it happened that way rather than get a bunch of sub par seasons that tarnish it.

Mighty Max was awesome. The cartoon and the toys. I had the SNES game too, that was dogshit.

I find it baffling that they never tried to bring the IP back in this era of endless remakes, reboots and necrophilic nostalgia.

I have some of these little playsets and some of the godzilla ones but I'm struggling to find all the pieces to them. I even had the big volcano mountain Mighty Max playset.

It wasn't an ending though, it was supposed to be a season cliffhanger. I'm sure if the show came back it'd have re-done the first episode. Which could have been interesting.
