Do you get excited about new movie releases?

The last three films I saw in theater were
1. Alien Romulus
2. Late Night with the Devil
3. Jigsaw
Does this make me based or cringe?

I haven't watched a movie or tv show in 10 years

I feel disconnected with life, not sure why I post here. I haven't seen a movie this year, ENTIRE YEAR. No not even Sinners. The movie going experience is just trash to me and it isn't fun anymore, its paying real money to hate yourself.

When I was a kid there was a feeling like I just got done doing some cool shit just by watching a movie, I felt elevated. Now I just feel like I wasted 4 hours I could have put into Expedition 33.

Yeah I'm looking forward to Superman.
I love the comic books, and the movie looks good so far. Not huge on Gunn's style of humor, particularly in the context of a Superman movie, but the rest seems good.

It's really embracing the sci-fi and weird bullshit of the DC comics, which I appreciate.
Hopefully we can have even dumber DC movies in the future. Maybe we can finally adapt one of the several times Jimmy Olsen has accidentally married a gorilla woman in Gorilla City. Or when Lois Lane underwent a procedure to become black for a story she was writing.
