In fact, most vets in the war didn't even see combat. They spent most of the time getting drunk and smoking doobies. It's where the welfare queen moniker originated from. They heard of someone who stepped on a mine and came home and milked the government for gibs for the rest of their lives. Now WW2 vets, THEY saw some shit.
