Yeah. They probably just didn't want him to kill half the neighborhood and then himself but it really is a shitty dynamic.

It's fucked but this happens constantly. Same way your friends won't tell you how much of a cunt your gf was until you break up

It wasn’t their business and Dale was too stupid to see it. He had every opportunity to connect the dots. Joseph looks like John. Dale did it to himself and in the end wins back the affection of his whore wife.

Dale genuinely believed Nancy was loyal to him and when Dale believed something he wouldn’t see it any other way. Like his dad being a government agent instead of obviously being gay. It would have just ruined friendships if they tried to interfere. Love makes people do retarded shit. I’ve known people who let someone cheat on them repeatedly

Hank is too autistic to talk about personal things.
Bill enjoys having a one-up on Dale.

There really is no good reason Boomhauer never tells him, especially when a later episode shows that Dale and Boomhauer have a special annual trip where they get away from the other 2 for a weekend.

the obvious joke is that Boomhauer's told him many times but Dale doesn't understand him
