So what exactly is the nature of Bruce Willis' dementia? He can't speak words? But can he understand? Or is it all yapeekayay for him now?

I think the concept of singing a tune to keep time in coordinating tasks independently was a great idea.
Too bad it was wasted on this shit.

The script isn't bad. The casting, Bruce aside, is terrible. That's what sunk the movie.

It's too silly and weird. Also it was initially marketed as a hard action movie, which it's clearly not. It's a thin idea with an undernourished script and absolutely the wrong director.

I just remember how well lit it was. No blown out highlights, characters wear dark clothes but nothing lost in shadows, no muddiness, everything crisp and perfectly exposed. God, we used to know how to make movies, even the most mediocre, forgettable 90's films are at least shot coherently and well.
