Coen Brothers mini series with a cast of up and comers. No restrictions on the gore. Coens have full creative control. This is the only way to get a good BM adaption and even then it'll still probably be sub-par.

i'm ESL and though i have no trouble reading authors like dickens, joyce, mccarthy, delillo (without a dictionary because i'm very smart), i don't think it is at all bold of me to state that the prose in david copperfield or great expectations is less arcane, less opaque, more accessible to the general reader than the outright abstruse verbiage that litters every blood-soaked page in blood meridian. i mean cone on.
