I started up my 100% save file of RDR2 thinking I would just chill in free roam for a while but I ended up just shooting up Thieve’s Landing and turning it off after ten minutes.

Alright, I'll take the bait. Which imaginary prophet or god is coming to save or torture us forever in all of their love? Jesus, Muhammad, Moses, Vishnu? Maybe there's a plot twist and it's Xenu's brother's hologram?

Happened to me already. Wokeness took my soul and replaced it with pure hatred.

Why don't they realize what they're attempting to do, is tearing /tv/chads apart?

That suggests you're ascending. I don't think that can be right.
We were never really involved, if we're honest.

I was having the same issue in both realms of entertainment.
What it really was is that the stuff being produced in the lanes that I frequented were basically all the same thing. Predictable. Stale.
When I turned to indie games and looked for movies that were not big Hollywood slopfests I found a new enjoyment.

It's one thing to have watched or played something you have enjoyed before...it's another when you go to something new and it feels just like a bunch of other stuff you've watched or played before and that's when the boredom hits. You're predicting accurately the things that will happen when the experience is supposed to be new. The special effects don't seem special because the question of
>Wow! How did they do that?!
is quickly answered with
>They animated it in a computer.

Movies sadly just aren’t the pinnacle of mainstream culture anymore. I work with a bunch of zoomies at work, and all they consume is social media, short form videos and reality tv.

I’m a massive cinephile and even I feel like it’s becoming a pointless hobby.

New movies or movies in general?

I think there are only so many classic films you can watch before you've had your fill. There's not an infinite number. Watching past that point means you're putting a film on for a specific ambience, like having music play while you're doing something else.

Every once in awhile I find a HidDeN GeM. But I have seen over 4k movies. I don’t know why they keep slapping them together, with actors that were hot stuff two decades ago, thinking people will show up. They get the bare minimum return doing that.

Have you considered that you are becoming depressed?
Maybe your biological capacity for stimulation is being lowered for some reason? Bad diet? Poor sleep? Some other medical issue or condition?

I watch 1960s movies and they're better than anything else that exists in the world of films.
