"I am wanting..." just follows the same pattern.
people.used to make fun of pajeets by doing that "hello it is that I am wanting to be seeing the menu please sahib". you can even see it in films from the 80s.
"hello I am being hungry, I am needing some food"

english IS their first language. Like american italians in NYC they all speak broken english with heavy accents and that is their primary language

Perfect example. I'm a born-in-Italy Italian, but I moved to NY when I was young, and the amount of "Italians" that can't speak a word of Italian was amusing. Their language there is mostly slang/butchered Italian words, and English. It's basically a dialect.
