>this was considered monumental to millennials in 1993
First ever Dreamworks face
>Hey Tyrone, I would love it if you would fuck my wife and let me watch!
Peak millennial humor.
Am I wrong to think zoomers are more of a micro-generation in cultural terms? What I mean is, they grew up under the umbrella of the 00s and 10s which was dominated by millennial trends and mostly merged with the vibe instead of creating a new thing, wasn't until the late 10s and now 20s that things consolidated into real differences (for better or worse). They barely formed an idea of what they are and we're moving on to gen alpha already.
Post a media article about it as it was monumental ;)

Why do fags who engage in this generationology shit always use children's multimedia and consumer products as discussion points? It's always cartoons, junk food, video games, etc.
Why don't they address actual sociological points? e.g Generation Y being more stoic compared to Z, Generation Z growing up in a world of "perfect information" which makes studies and employment more competitive, Generation Z being more health conscious, etc. Instead, it's just analysis of/nostalgia for trivial and disposable shit you should have forgotten about 20 years ago
>>212184962Zoomer mentality.
Back then we discussed things amount our local communities, which were all people who were the same color as us and shared the same values. We didn't get our opinions from "media articles" or smartphone screens.
>>212183731 (OP)It was pretty big at the time
>>212183969I believe that after aughts, cultural progress kind of slowed down. Eighties, nineties and aughts have distinct style to them, while there is little difference between aughts and tens.
>>212183731 (OP)This screenshot looks different than I remember
>>212185582It’s all just black culture now, white people acting black.
>>212183969I'm considered a zoomer (born in 2000) and yet I like a lot of things like the Raimi Spider-Man films that are considered millenialcore. I find it weird when I see people on the internet calling them or the Nolan Batman trilogy millenial flicks, as they all literally came out when I was a child.

Quick, Bateman! Samefag some sn**d shitters calling each other based with 0 fresh OC to make it look like your forced jeet meme is still alive!
Imagine a series of large, colored pixels, each representing a unique idea or mode of thought. A handful of unique colors, but each bold and bright. Imagine that as the 1960s. Now imagine a few of the colors changed, some of them to more drab tones, but still distinct. That's the 70s. Now imagine LOTS of new, very vivid colors suddenly added, in unexpected new ways. That's the 1980s.
Now, however, imagine the field of pixels zoomed out. There's more of them visible, but they're still mostly the same colors as before. That's the 90s. Now imagine it zoomed out further. Way more pixels, more than we ever wanted! But again, still the same colors.. and now they're beginning to lose their distinction. The 2000s. Zoom out even further... now it's nothing but an indistinct, greyish mass with only tiny hints of color if you squint. The 2010s.
Now? Now it's all just grey, an endless sea of grey, every possible idea, too much of everything, done all the time, more than we can stand, so that nothing unique or cherishable stands out, everything is tired and tiresome. Now imagine the people born into this world. What colors can one see, when all one has known through all their formative years is grey? A rare few minds might suddenly spark into ignition at being shown color, awakening to the glory of ages past, but most, having been trained on grey, will only wish to see grey, and only see grey in everything they look. What colors will they make?
Haha I'm gonna get shot trying to pull a prank on Youtube.
>>212183969Teacher here, yeah Zoomers grew up in the era of rehashed reboots, nearly everything they like that isn't dumb memes is at latest from 2015
>>212183969No, but you're not far off. What you're describing is the beginning of the internet's impact on culture and fracturing of civilisation; in short, the generation is too long of a time-span for the rapidly changing culture we now live in and an older zoomer is completely unrecognisable to a younger zoomer. Gen Alpha will experience the same.
>>212185315shut up zoomer everyone got their talking points from tv guide and tom brokaw
>>212186140>AI slop>OCIce cream will never be a meme btw
Why did gen X completely disappear from the thought patterns of the general population? It's like they never existed in those minds. Do people just confuse them with boomers?
>>212188275A lot of the shit people call millennialcore is just Gen X shit. Gen X made and watched Fight Club, and Gen X made and watched The Big Bang Theory.
>>212188275>Do people just confuse them with boomers?Mostly that, I'd also argue the historical significance of boomers and their impact simply overshadows the forgotten gen X, the shit that happened during boomer years still haunts us.
>>212186003Because you need to be conscious when something is out to be part of your generation
>oh I was 2 when the first raimi spiderman came out!>such zoomercore!
>>212183731 (OP)One of the best episodes imo
Still higher resolution than skibidi toilet
>>21218827590% gets blamed on millenials.
