>Episode 1
>Plagueis
>Outbound Flight
>Episode 2-3
>Mist Encounter Short Story
>Episode 4-5
>Shadows of the Empire Novel
>Episode 6
>Thrawn Trilogy
>Dark Empire 1
That’s literally all you need. 6 movies, 6 books, 1 comic.
Alternatively, if you want something more:
>Dark Empire 2
>X-Wing 1-4
>I, Jedi
(Optional:)
>Tales of the Jedi Comics [During X-Wing/Before I, Jedi]
The first list is the definitive Star Wars story to me, but the second list is good for a full run through since it ends off with the story focusing on someone else becoming a Jedi, and eventually being trained by Luke, making the whole thing come full circle. After I, Jedi I just imagine Luke and his gang go on episodic adventures and still live happily ever after

Really asssinated Jacen’s character there. I don’t know what they were thibking with having another “evil Skywalker.” It’s redundant and cynical. Even the new “twist” you could have on it still doesn’t work given how bleak it is.

Even the new “twist” you could have on it still doesn’t work given how bleak it is for Star Wars. I get the cast not being perfect parents, but there’s a difference between struggling parenting and then making a fucking Sith Lord.

It's pretty funny to me that the last surviving thing of the Legends timeline is The Old Republic MMORPG.

How is that still making enough money to let it survive?

Lucas doesn't get to decide canon. He pushed off the idea of sequels for decades and left the books to keep the ideas of star wars alive for his fans. The EU hard carried his entire franchise keeping it relevant and enormously popular so everyone demanded more toys, games, comics and eventually movies. Lucas should have graciously thanked for EU authors for all they did making him wealthy. Then he tanked it and sold it to others to tank further.

Lucas only got to make his shitty Prequels because the EU kept the IP relevant after the OT. Star Wars was only so valuable to the "white slavers" he sold it to because the EU helped build hype for the Prequels and kept it relevant after they finished. Turkeyneck had a few good ideas that, with the help of the work and talent of others, he was able to parley into a grand total of six movies and a cartoon for children, but Star Wars has always been more than just him and his failure to grasp that is why the Prequels were an inferior product to films made decades before with a smaller budget.

The guy who changed his mind every other hour and decided to sell out to a big corporation gets no say in what's canon anymore, retard.
