Any hype for this? It comes out in June 2026. I think this is a bigger gamble than Superman. Dolph Lundgren — who is rumored to appear in the film as King Grayskull — said the reboot will have a $200 million budget. According to him, he knows it for sure.
It's also directed by Travis Knight and stars Nicholas Galitzine as He-Man, with Jared Leto playing Skeletor.
>Jared Leto
Cant wait to hear what retarded stunts he does on the set to seem like a dedicated method actor. Propably something involving real human skulls
Jared Leto won't be in it
>bloated budget
>well known nostalgia bait franchise
>jared leto
Come on. Can't we just have one good fucking movie? Do they always have to fuck it up? I see the writing on the wall already.
>>212192483 (OP)Hope he gets the burrito.
As much as I love He-Man, if anyone gets blackwashed or a stronk roastie takes the spotlight, I'll refuse to watch it in anyway whatsoever. I'm fatigued
They're setting it on Earth (again), which is fucking lazy. Don't know how they're gonna set that up. Might take some cues from the Barbie movie. I think Man-At-Arms is being race-swapped. So far I'm not impressed.
>>212192849He'll be arrested on this new Epstein tier shit he's got against him before that I hope
>>212194140>if anyone gets blackwashedMan-at-Arms is played by Idris Elba.
Looking at the general casting of this movie, it looks really bizarre.
>>212194231>>212194371>>212194384Color me surprised. I'm convinced there will be a black female in it as well. They even wedged that in a fucking Minecraft movie
>>212192483 (OP)>jared letowell there goes any interest
>>212192483 (OP)>Travis Knight directed>Nostalgia festThis might be a huge hit if it's in the right window and marketed properly by Amazon.
>>212194231According to leaks only the first 20 mins are on Earth and lots of eternian characters appear there to wreck havoc and the rest of the film is entirely on Eternia, sort of like how Flash Gordon starts on Earth and then they go to space or a reverse of the 80s MotU movie.
>>212194707You’ll see. He’s being phased out , and reshoots will be likely
>>212194886Dolph Lundgren did say they are doing reshoots right now
>DOLPH LUNDGREN: "- Masters of the Universe... they are actually reshooting it now in London. It's coming out next year. They are rebooting it. Big budget. 200 Million Dollar Picture."https://foreternia.com/2025/06/actor-dolph-lundgren-confirms-new-masters-of-the-universe-movie-budget-at-200-million-dollars
>>212195020That looks more like an old guy not knowing what reshoot means. He says reboot in the very next sentence
>>212195269The whole thing smacks of repoop.
>>212192483 (OP)Well it can't possibly be worse than Kevin Smith's raping of he-man
CGI Orko, Ram Man & Battle Cat
Takes place 100% on Eternia, not Earth
Then I might be interested
made in current day? nah, i'm good thanks.
also i love the 80s motu think i'll just watch the iconic skeletor becomes a god scene again
>>212194118I remember the first Moneysupermarket advert with Skeletor. It felt like a fever dream to see such a good costume used in one of our ads
>>212192849>"EH, EH, EH! INE SKERRATAR! YOU WERR DIE, HE-NAN!"he'll just do this in every interview: talk without his lips
