>Better than Family Guy
>Better than the Simpsons
>Better than Rick & Morty
>Consistently good from episode to episode
>Doesn't have nearly the same cultural impact
Why is this?
>>212193124 (OP)I’d say maybe some people are turned off by the bush era humor of its earlier seasons and than the fans of the earlier seasons were turned off by its more outlandish absurdist humor in the later seasons. It is a very funny show and the characters and family dynamic is a lot more developed than others.

>>212193124 (OP)when it isn't haley or jeff or rogu it's fine, definitely better than disney's family guy (unwatchable) or the zombie simpsons

My mood is noticeably better when they are on air. It’s so weird. I don’t even like it that much. I guess it’s like the last remnant of old tv.
It's great, if you're a Dadder theres a certain season where it switches from early American Dad to the newer version.
But the switch has been consistent. Like you could watch a season 10 episode and it might as well be season 20.
Absolutely love it.
>>212193124 (OP)For me, it’s “guppy love.”
