Yep it does. I got set up with an ivy league admission on scholarship followed by a good job in finance through family connections. I was leagues and bounds ahead of everyone else by 24. God, I was so naive when I was 19 trying to make it in the industry (in my country, not Hollywood). I worked in crews for close to a decade and yeah, the sweet well-paying creative jobs are 100% taken by either nepo-babies or drinking buddies (by drinking I mean drugs) of the nepo-babies. Oh yeah, also all actresses are getting fucked by directors or producers unless they're already dating a powerful director/producer/actor who can "protect" them, and even with that cheating is not uncommon. And they boast about it between each-other (as a random guy in the crew they don't really care if you overhear it).
