Thing is if you accidentally kill someone in bumfuck nowhere and you have no relationship to the person/the placee, it's still kinda hard to figure out cases. Nobody spends years investigating that one suspicious murder, the way they resolve cases is all the evidence presents itself easily or they tell on themselves.
