plus she didn't have to leave that guy for dead. Given he tried to attack her, but that's only because she tried to rip off some of hood's cloak. He was no threat to her in her suit so why did she just leave him to suffocate?
she works way better as a punisher or a spawn but as a superhero? hell no
and it just pisses me off about hood, you saw him nearly kill that cop, you saw the bullet just ricochet off the guy, and you're still just "yeah I trust hood he's cool"

The staff are also actually pretty damn lenient. The ep talked about how they pretty much let her do what ever the fuck she wants, then when she showed zero notable results, she had the galls to ask for grants extension. Normally, in these types of show, you're supposed to make the figures of authority be the assholes and make the main character look like underdog to justify their motivations and actions. Here, they take basically every step to show that Riri had the best environment to study in and she's just like, BUT TONY STARK HAD BILLIONS TO WORK WITH! and that somehow makes it ok to cheat for other students to earn money.

Seriously man, how did they think that's a good look for their protagonist?
